Generative animated short films based on each viewer’s mood and memories.

For two weeks, participants journal about their life events and mood change. A system takes the journals, parses the data and generates a unique animated short film for each participant.

Each participant’s happiness, sadness, excitement, anxiety, encounters in life and social interaction are embodied in the adventure of a corgi. By watching this film, participants practice self-empathy and gratitude.

The system is designed to support mental health intervention. Read about it in my thesis at the MIT Media Lab.
